Videos: Double Albatross Day On European and PGA Tours
Itâs like the buses, you wait months for an albatross, then two come along together. Yesterday saw a rare double eagle on both the European Tour via Joost Luiten and on the PGA Tour from James Hahn.
First hereâs Luitens at the Volvo Golf Champions event in Durban. It came on par-5 10th hole during the second round and whatâs more amazing is that Luiten was using a 7-iron from 248 yards.
On the PGA Tour it was James Hahnâs turn to capture the rare bird at the Sony Open, the first one since 1983. Hahn holed out his 193-yard second shot on the par-5 9th hole.
Hereâs the link to the video, which for some strange reason, the PGA will not share.
