John Daly Wins Car For Hole In One Then Loses Car Again John Daly Style

Why does all the bad shit always happen to John Daly?  Yesterday big John made a hole-in-one at the Humana  Pro-Am with a free car involved but managed not to drive away with the ride.

john dalyIt seems Daly had bagged a brand new Hyundai, after being handed a 9-iron by a Callaway rep and asked to take a swing.

"I didn't even look at the shot," Daly said after the round. "I leaned over to get my tee and was telling the Callaway representative that it felt pretty good. He said, ‘Good, because it just went in the hole.’”

The PGA Tour initially announced on Twitter that Daly had an “ace” and won a car at the seventh hole of the PGA Nicklaus Private Course during a pro-am. Then the backtracking started.  What the Tour were not told was that the holed out shot was Daly’s second swing at the hole! 

A PGA Tour official said tournament director Bob Marra was told by a member of Daly’s group about the hole-in-one. A runner was sent to get a quote from Daly, who played along excitedly saying "Trust me, with three kids I will put the new Hyundai to good use."

Tournament officials later realized Daly signed for a “3” on his scorecard and that he didn’t call into the office looking for the keys of the car.

Only in America!

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
