Watch Scott Langley's birdie putt hang on the edge of the cup for what seems like an eternity before dropping

Sunday was not a good day for Scott Langley. The 25-year-old PGA Tour pro was in the final group at the Memorial, trailing Bubba Watson by a shot heading into the final round and looking for his first ever win on the PGA Tour.

Langley shot a 79 on Sunday, and it didn't have a ton of highlights besides this birdie putt he faced on the par-3 16th hole. Playing alongside Watson, who was struggling himself, Langley hit a nice tee shot on the par-3 and had a good look at birdie to, if nothing else, earn him a couple more bucks before he departed Muirfield Village.

The birdie putt looked perfect, and was sliding toward the cup as it started to run out of steam.

But Langley and Watson waited ... and waited ... and waited ... and finally saw the birdie putt drop as Watson put his arm up in the air and Langley landed his highlight of the day.

There is a 10-second rest rule that is applied in these types of situations once the player has approached the ball, but according to PGA officials Langley's shot fell eight seconds into that count.

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
