On Father's Day, Zac Blair pulls his dad out of the gallery at the U.S. Open to caddie
Few things would be as special for a father as watching your son go out and qualify for a major championship, and have that major championship wrap up on Father's Day.
But Zac Blair, the former BYU golfer, did just that to get into Pinehurst, and then made the cut on the number to get into the weekend at the U.S. Open.
Blair's father, Jim, was following along in the gallery on Sunday as his son put together a very solid round of 1-over 71, and had an even better memory when his son asked him to come inside the ropes on the 18th hole to carry his bag up to the green.
We saw this on Friday when Kevin Kisner pulled his father out of the gallery and did pretty much the same thing, with both dads getting something they will never forget from this U.S. Open at Pinehurst.
