Video: The Matt Every 338 Yard All Or Nothing Drive That Triggered Win
They say you drive for show and putt for dough but Matt Every stood over his four footer for par and the win at Bay Hill knowing he had holed 53 out of 53 inside six feet for the week. And in the pressure cooker with Arnie watching on he missed.
But in the end, his total of 13 under could not be bettered.
Follow @golfcentraldocThat was in large part thanks to this 338 yard drive, within feet out of the out of bounds, that lead to a run of four birdies in the next five holes.
Every grew up only an hour away from the course at Daytona Beach and this was the first event he every played on the PGA Tour when his Dad dropped him off in his car.
What a great one to win! You definitely do drive for dough too sometimes.
