Quick Get The Shredder. Wind Farm Planned For Trumpâs Doonbeg
Oh dear Donald Trump is not going to be too pleased to hear that an application has been made to Clare County Council for nine wind turbines just two kilometres from Doonbeg.
Trump who fell out with Scotland after losing a legal battle to stop a wind farm being built off the coast of his Trump course in Aberdeen, now faces the prospects of nine 85 metre high turbines with 82 metre blades inland of the Doonbeg course .
I found the actual application, by Clare Coastal Wind Power Ltd, which states: "For grant of a ten year planning permission for development at a site in the townlands of Carrowmore South, Einagh and Shragh, approximately 2 km south of the village of Doonbeg.
A decision is due on the proposal on March 30th.
Donât worry though Donald, this is Ireland. Weâll get it sorted out for ya. Now whereâs that shredder?
