Pics: Kevin Na Victim Of Racist âHarassmentâ By Spectator At Arnold Palmer Invitational
Following complaints of slow play from Robert Garrigusâ caddie Brent Henley last week, Kevin Na complained of being âharassedâ by a spectator during the second round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Follow @golfcentraldocIt is believed Na was the subject of racist taunts by the spectator as he walked down the first fairway, so upsetting him that he called in PGA Tour Official Mark Russell to report the incident.
A visibly upset Na spent almost a minute speaking to Russell while caddie Kenny Harms tried to calm his man down.
Na has unwittingly become the poster child for slow play on the PGA Tour even though several higher profile players are well known to be worse offenders.
At the time of yesterdayâs incident Naâs group was not of position of the group in front which included David Lingmerth, Dicky Pride and Gonzo Castano.
