Rory McIlroy Now Throws Third Country Into 2016 Olympic Equation

Rory McIlroy threw the deck of cards that is this week’s biggest non story up in the air again today by now stating he may play for the tiny Pacific territory of Guam in the 2016 Olympic Games.

mcilroy A second Open Letter has been ghost written by a cleverdick solicitor employed by Horizon issued by McIlroy today via his Bebo page that has only 6 followers hinting that he will turn his back on both Ireland and Team GB, in favour of wearing the traditional sky blue mankini of Guam at Rio.

McIlroy said “I have always had a fondness for Guam. Guam has really helped me throughout my career.  I can see myself in Rio in 2016 with Guam.  Guam has been very good to me. As long as you don’t swallow it, it sticks to your guts you know.”

While McIlroy’s last comment has baffled reporters, there seems to be enough in there to make it official.

The 23 year old World Number 1 has already been installed as hot favourite for Guam’s Got Talent and bookies have suspended betting on McIlroy having the No. 1 chart single in Guam this Christmas.

The president of Guam was unavailable for comment this afternoon as he was attending a public stoning.  More as it emerges.
