2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting Preview and Tips
Keegan Bradley 25/1
He is just too consistent not to win soon. Itâs hard to believe that this is only his 65th career start and already he has three wins including a major. Keegan followed a tied fourth at The Honda Classic with a seventh at the WGC-Cadillac. Americans have won the first 12 events of the PGA Tour season; if itâs to be 13, it could be Keegan.
Tiger Woods 4/1
Should you back Tiger Woods this week? Well he has won the event seven times, is the defending champion and is coming off a victory at the WGC Cadillac. Heâs in a good place personally too. There is only one caveat. Even in winning, Woods driving is still suspect and long straight batting is a must for winners at Bay Hill. If he hits the fairways, he wins.

Graeme McDowell 25/1
Top 10âs in his last two events with a ninth at the Honda Classic and a tied third at The WGC Cadillac. GMac is ramrod straight with that Cleveland driver and displayed a fantastic touch with the flatstick at Doral. That will be critical on the Bermuda grass greens at Bay Hill which will touch (US Open speeds) of 12 and over on the stimp. Graeme shot a second round 63 in the second round last year and though he closed with a disappointing 74, he still took second spot behind Woods. My tip of the week.
Sergio Garcia 20/1
Sergio thrives when the scoring is tough. Put simply, of the worldâs elite over the past few seasons, thereâs nobody better (combined) tee to green than Sergio, but thereâs not many who struggle as much to convert chances. However thatâs all changing this year with the Spaniard again appearing in the top 10 strokes gained in putting at Innisbrook. That led to his third top 10 of the season. A recent best of eighth here in 2011 when Martin Laird won, but Sergio has five other top 10âs in his career at the venue.
Best Of The Rest
Ryan Moore is a streaky player with a best this season of a fourth in Phoenix and a worst of an MC last week in Tampa. However he does tend to perform on the tougher tracks and tied fourth last year. Heâs available at 66/1. If Kevin Streelman won last week thereâs no reason why Brian Harman cant make us a few quid this week. Played well in Tampa last week for his first top 15 finish of the season. Started with a 77 last year but finished with a brilliant 68 for a T15 finish last year.
