PGA Championship, Round 4: Jason Dufner wins his first major championship

• There were plenty of guys with a chance to snag this PGA Championship on Sunday, but it was Jason Dufner that took care of business on Sunday at Oak Hill. His Sunday 68 was even better than the score considering he made bogeys on his final two holes, but a great player over the last two seasons was deserving of the Wanamaker Trophy.

• Of all the guys that had a chance on Sunday, it was a pretty lackluster push from everyone besides Dufner. Jim Furyk shot 71, Henrik Stenson, Jonas Blixt and Adam Scott shot 70 and names like Rory McIlroy and Dustin Johnson couldn't get a big push going.

• The PGA Championship started with hope that Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson might be meeting at the perfect time, but neither could get anything going at Oak Hill. Mickelson shot 78-72 on the weekend to finish T-72 while Woods continued his major struggles with a T-41 finish at the PGA.

Scott Piercy wasn't in the equation heading into the final round at the PGA Championship, but his Sunday was really, really good. Piercy shot a round of 5-under 65 despite bogeys on Nos. 15 and 18, making eight birdies to finish T-5, his best finish ever in a major.

Tim Clark might not have had the best week at Oak Hill, but he had the shot of the week at the PGA Championship with this hole-in-one on No. 11.

Rickie Fowler's final round 69 was a good finish for the young American, and this photo was the coolest we found all day at Oak Hill.

While the major season is over, it's the FedEx Cup playoffs that kick off next week at the Wyndham Championship. With four great weeks of playoff golf, we're in luck with the Presidents Cup kicking off on October 6, so while the majors are done, golf is not.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. The Sky statement read: We apologize unreservedly for the navy dress Sarah wore during last nights broadcast, through which no nipples were visible. This was due to a wardrobe malfunction. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
