Brandt Snedeker Is A Real Life Pawn Star!

Brandt Snedeker just sky rocketed in my estimation! Turns out he used to work in a Pawn Shop (obviously alongside Rick, Big Hoss, Chumlee and Pops).

Alain-Pawn-StarsMom and Dad Snedeker owned a Pawn Shop and the young Brandt used to man the counter making wads of cash by offering unwitting customers 20% of what their items were actually worth before flipping them for a fortune.  Sneds was such a jewellery expert he picked out the diamond as a youngster, that his wife Mandy has in her wedding ring today.

Among the other (less) interesting facts Mandy revealed about her hubbie on PGATour.com were

  • He is a huge sports fan - especially Vanderbilt Athletics and the Tennessee Titans.
  • He has lived in a five-mile radius his entire life. He grew up in a house that was right by where he went to grade school, high school and college and we still live in that same area with our two children.
  • He likes to fish and hunt almost (okay, maybe more) than he likes to play golf.
  • He wants to live on a farm one day. He loves being out in the middle of nowhere.
  • He does all of the ironing in the house -- thank goodness because I am absolutely awful at it!
  • He loves dogs, and if we didn't travel so much we would probably have a few of them.
  • He can't stand the noise of a fork or spoon scraping a plate, bowl or someone's teeth. It drives him crazy!
  • He hates dancing.
  • He loves to grill or use the smoker.
  • He loves fast food, which is totally great because I am no health nut either!
  • He loves everything about the South -- SEC football, tailgates, country music, fried food, etc., etc.
  • He is a true Southern gentleman. He opened the car door for me on our first date :)
  • He loves good red wine.
  • He is a great golfer, but an even better father. He lights up when he sees his children and they have completely helped his outlook on golf and life.
  • He loves the History Channel and Discovery Channel
  • Brandt has a heart of gold. He is one of the most pure, genuine people I have ever met. He loves giving and would much rather buy a gift for someone else than for himself. There is nothing fake about him.
  • He always carries a one dollar bill in his wallet for good luck.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! When I rocked in, several men (and one woman) were gathered around an iphone ogling and sharing  two pics of who they claimed were Holly Sonders naked. Now I have to hold my hands up and say, I had to google her to find out she’s from The Golf Channel. Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. The Sky statement read: We apologize unreservedly for the navy dress Sarah wore during last nights broadcast, through which no nipples were visible. This was due to a wardrobe malfunction. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
