The 22 yard college student aced from 88, 180, and 112 yards this Summer at three courses and had multiple witnesses.
"I'm nothing more than an average golfer," Spoon Kanner who plays off 9 handicap said. "I'm just teeing in on the greens. It's a pretty amazing feeling."
According to The Sentinel
"I was there all three times," said Quinn Sanberg, Spoon-Kanner's friend and playing partner. "It was like an out-of-body experience just watching them. He's starting to make it look easy now."
When Spoon-Kanner and Sanberg completed their round Monday, the pro shop was already closed, so the lucky golfer left a note on the door.
Casserly keeps track of all the aces hit on the course. Pictures of the odds-defying golfers are posted on the wall in chronological order. Spoon-Kanner has two pictures posted next to each other. And it will soon be three. He returned to the course Wednesday to have his picture taken.
"I don't think we've ever had someone make three in a row," said Joe Luna, an employee at the course for the past 17 years. "We've had twice in one round, but this is pretty incredible."
