Chubbs Peterson Rules Himself Out Of Race To Be Tiger Woods Next Coach
Betting on Chubbs Peterson was suspended yesterday after his name was withdrawn from the race to succeed Sean Foley as Tiger Woods next swing coach.
A spokesman for Peterson ruled him out of the running citing being deceased after reeling backwards and falling through an open window on being presented with the head of the alligator which bit his hand off.
Peterson had been installed as the early favourite by Paddypower after turning slapshot ice hockey player Happy Gilmore into a proven Tour performer in just three months back in 1996. Betting was later suspended after the bookie remembered Peterson was in fact dead.
Gilmore stills credits Chubbs as the driving force in his successful bid to save Grandma's house from being acquired by fellow PGA Tour pro Shooter McGavin.
