No, not football time, you. It's time to start kicking around who should be the player of the year. We've got three candidates: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Adam Scott. One has won more tournaments this year than anybody on earth; the other two have won majors. Which way do we vote here, huh? Bacon : I almost dedicated an entire column to this because there are so many ways you can go, but first I would like to throw out the "I bet Tiger would take (include Scott or Mickelson's) year." While the Bridgestone Invitational still has 36 holes to go, a lot of the focus in the golf world is on the final major of the year. The PGA Championship kicks off next week, and the PGA of America has already released the tee times for all the players for the first two rounds. Tiger Woods will be paired with two former winners of this event, Keegan Bradley and Davis Love III, while the three major winners of 2013, Adam Scott, Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson, will go off together at Oak Hill. Follow @golfcentraldoc Well knock me down with a feather but a poll conducted by an online dating site called Golfmates.com  has crowned Paula Creamer the LPGA's sexiest golfer.  It’s only a week since we had the infamous Paula Creamer boob pop out pic ! Apparently 2,600 users aged between 18 and 80 voted over a month for their favourite giving Paula 43% of the male vote and 56% of the female vote. Second was Michelle Wie, third was Beatriz Recari. I’m going to have to do one of those God Damned sexy lady golfer polls! Doc’s LPGA Pole Dancer poll?  I’m betting Michelle Wie wont be second, or even tenth! In the absence of any other worthy news because the Deutsche Bank doesn’t start until today, all eyes have turned to last week’s winner Stevie Williams’ pairing with old pal Tiger Woods. Rather than take the opportunity to shove a large rusty implement up Tiger’s ass as he promised a few years back, it looks like the New Zealander has now made piece with the former jockey. “There’s an old saying that time heals all wounds,” Williams told FOX Sports. “I was very hurt by what happened with Tiger. Hurt and very disappointed (that Tiger didn’t share any of his hookers.) “I think it could’ve been handled differently. One of the world's most popular golfers and the King of All Media crossed paths on Twitter on Sunday, and it was for the most peculiar of reasons: unruly fans. If you watched even one stroke of golf this weekend at the PGA Championship, you got to enjoy the glory that was the gallery of idiots screaming "funny" slogans after every player hit. Here, enjoy a selection, starting with a "mashed potato!" for Tiger Woods: Next, Keegan Bradley, who gets both a "Baba Booey" and a "Go Sawx!": And finally, champion Jason Dufner, who gets a "Chewbacca!" to follow his drive: Funny, right? • Jason Dufner was the story on Friday at the PGA Championship, but we will get to him in a bit. The big story continues to be how easy Oak Hill is playing, and how the best in the world are taking full advantage of the soft conditions and pure greens. • The PGA of America always groups the three major winners together for the first two rounds of the PGA Championship, and two of those men have a real shot at adding another trophy to their already great seasons. Adam Scott sits two shots back of Dufner, while Justin Rose is a shot back of Scott at 6-under. Both have played great for two days and will definitely be factors come this weekend. • The two names that most thought had the best chance at the Wanamaker Trophy have struggled this week at Oak Hill.
