Lee Westwood Hints He Has Already Been Told He Has Secured A Ryder Cup Captain's Pick

I really do hope this was just a slip of the tongue by Lee Westwood or just a bit of presumptuous confidence.

Lee told the US media after being eliminated from the Playoffs and missing out on automatic qualification for the European Team....

“Off until the Ryder Cup.  After that, I don’t know.”

Has Lee already been assured by Paul McGinley that he secured a Captain's Pick for the Gleneagles showpiece next month?

It's hard to think of a Ryder Cup without Lee but would Paul narrow his options by telling a player he already has a pick so early? And where might that leave Luke Donald and Ian Poulter who are in the same boat as Lee and also decorated heroes? Have they been told anything?

And then there's the likes of Miguel Angel Jimenez, Stephen Gallacher, Joost Luiten and Francesco Molinari who ply their trade and have shown allegiance to the European Tour where others have scarpered. Is one pick being kept for any of these?

And one more thing, if Stephen Gallacher does make the team automatically by winning or coming second in Italy that would leave GMac also looking for one of those picks.

Oh dear, if I was Paul I wouldn't be sayin' nothin' to nobody!

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
