Video: Rory Miraculously Side Steps Dog Turd Then Fails To Notice Steam Roller

It  was supposed to be the Rory McIlroy show. No Phil or Adam within earshot, Tiger Woods was already back at his house having a massage.

rory miracle shotWhat happened was another stuttering final round of the Honda Classic (without Caroline inside the ropes to blame) from a troubled McIlroy but boy did it make make for great drama.  A most unRorylike semi duffed fairway bunker shot on 16 was the pick of the poor shots and lead to double and he followed it with another bogey from the sand on the tricky 17th.

Then came the kind of moment only Champions can produce, a 245 yard 3-wood miracle shot on the last that left a putt to win.  Everything about that shot was epic, only McIlroy could have produced it.  It was kind of hard to believe that eagle putt was then to win the Honda Classic given the terrible day McIlroy had and maybe it was justice for the others that it slipped by to set up the playoff eventually won by Russell Henley.

“You know, even if I had won, it would have felt a little bit undeserved,” Rors told reporters after.

Cue the talk of “being close” but not yet the finished article.  The countdown to Augusta just took another little twist!

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
