Matt Every Skips Texas To Try Get Oasis Back Together
Matt Every has withdrawn from this weeks Valero Texas Open.
Never mind that he tied second in 2012 and is the joint course record holder in San Antonio, Every has bigger fish to fry. Heâs going to try get Oasis back together. Oh and get ready for his Masters debut.
His win Sunday at Bay Hill has earned him the automatic Masters invitation prompting the schedule change which involves skipping both this weeks event and the Shell Houston Open.
He will instead head to Augusta this week for the first of several pre-Masters practice rounds ahead of the April 10th start.
When Every was shooting his course record in 2012 his wife Danielle was seven months pregnant. She had planned on walking a few holes outside the ropes along with the bump, but such was Mattâs progress that she ended up walking all 18 holes.
And when the baby was born in June of 2012, he was christened Liam after Oasis front man Liam Gallagher. Matt is a massive fan of the 90âs Mancs and even says his dream foursome would include Liam and Noel Gallagher and "some sort of counsellor so we could get the best band in the world back together."
Iâm loving this guy! If anyone can heal the rift between Liam and Noel, itâs Matt Every.
