Phil Mickelson Dumps Callaway In Favour Of TaylorMade

With Rory McIlroy jumping ship to Nike, the last thing Callaway need is Phil Mickelson unhappy with his equipment. 

Hkg7974145 Yet that seems to be case as Leftie was spotted in Mission Hills last week with a TaylorMade RocketBallz 3-wood in his bag. He arrived in China with the club and explained to senior company official during a Callaway photoshoot that his current equipment would not be suitable for the event. 

Mickelson then removed his Callaway Big Bertha Diablo 3-wood with the blessing of Callaway's senior vice president of marketing, Harry Arnett.

Mickelson’s dilemma was that he needed a club that could go 290 yards off the tee (his Diablo fairway goes 275 his Razr driver goes 305) to negotiate tee shots at Mission Hills and still reach par 5’s at the event.

Arnett explained to Phil that although a prototype fairway was being readied it would not be available to him for several weeks and that he should “play whatever you want” to get a victory. Mickelson then produced the TaylorMade RocketBallz 3-wood complete with a matt black finish to attempt to deflect any attention.

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
