It’s start number 150 for the South African this week and one of the stars in a field bereft of many of the top names. Brendon hasn’t been outside the top four in his last three starts with a best of runner up at The Shriners a few weeks back. His scoring average of 70.06 is the best in the field.

Charles Howell 25/1

luke donald funny pic[9] Charles seems to be finding a bit of late season form after a tied seventh at the McGladrey and a tied 11th at the Frys. Knows the place inside out having had 11 starts in this tournament. Top tenned in 2006 and 2010.

Tommy Gainey 33/1

After his success on the Big Break TV show Two Gloves got a start here in 2008 and he certainly made the most of it with a second place finish behind Davis Love. Gainey shot a 60 in his final round last time out to win the McGladrey and with a week off to get grounded (though I believe he always is) Gainey might just fancy another big payday at Disney.

Davis Love 40/1

Does Captain Love have one more win in him? Well, judging by his tied fourth at The McGladrey, he just might. And if Love is to win, this is the most likely place is here with the easy Palm course in play before the cut. Love mastered the layout in 2008 and has six more top fives down the years to be the all time money winner here.

Justin Leonard 80/1

This week is the last event of the fall series and all eyes will be on the guys at 125 or lower on the money list as they are fighting for their Tour lives. Justin Leonard finds himself at 138th on the list and under serious pressure to perform. But he can be reassured by the fact that he tied second in two of the last three stagings. Leonard’s last win came in 2008 at the Stanford St Jude and his form of late has been woeful (with the exception of a good first round 64 at The Shriners) but desperate times require desperate measures.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! When I rocked in, several men (and one woman) were gathered around an iphone ogling and sharing  two pics of who they claimed were Holly Sonders naked. Now I have to hold my hands up and say, I had to google her to find out she’s from The Golf Channel. Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. The Sky statement read: We apologize unreservedly for the navy dress Sarah wore during last nights broadcast, through which no nipples were visible. This was due to a wardrobe malfunction. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
