Unluckiest golfer ever gets hit by a stolen car -- on the golf course

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Kevin Reinert was on the 18th tee at Starmount Forest Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. on Oct. 6, when a car crashed into him. It left the 61-year-old in shock and with a series of injuries.

"I just saw him take off, and I couldn’t believe it happened to me," Reinert told the Greensboro Record. "I thought, I must be dreaming."

What on Earth was a speeding car doing on a golf course? The driver, Isaiah Jurel Fox, was trying to flee police after a crime spree that begin earlier that day with a theft at a TJ Maxx and involved nine crime scenes and six victims. Fox wound up crashing a stolen car on the course shortly after hitting Reinert and was eventually caught. He's currently in custody with a $2.1 million bail and facing 32 charges.

Back to Reinert, 61, the poor guy was just happy to be back on the course after a week of rain. He usually only played nine holes, but the excitement of being back out there and the fact he was playing well convinced him to play the back nine. He was about to finish off a good round when he looked down at his cellphone to check his email. He heard a car accelerating, but by the time he looked back up, it was too late.

Reinert suffered two broken kneecaps, a broken left femur, torn ligaments, and an injured shoulder, which doctors think will keep him from playing golf for a year. We wish we could add "depriving a golfer of playing golf" as a 33rd charge to Fox's rap sheet. Reinert hopes to get back out there earlier and has already set an ambitious goal of lowering his handicap from a 14 to an 8 when he does. We're rooting for you, Kevin!

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
