Puma's Titantour golf shoes are the latest in a market inspired by running shoe

The idea of energy-return cushioning has proven effective in running shoes with the success of the Hoka One shoes and other similar entries. This concept is finding its way into golf with this year’s AdiPower Boost shoes from Adidas, and now Puma is getting into the cushioning game with its new TitanTour Ignite shoe, which the company unveiled Tuesday.

The TitanTour Ignite uses a liquid polyurethane blend during the manufacturing process to form a cushioned midsole between the outsole and your foot. Puma’s head of golf footwear Grant Knudson describes the material as having “providing unparalleled support and cushioning.”

"[The Ignite foam system] provides virtually unlimited design freedom in terms of shape, color and texture," Knudson said. "This allows us to utilize the correct amount of foam, as well as position it exactly where needed to provide golfers with the perfect blend of cushion and performance."

Knudson says Puma noticed substantial performance benefits from the material in its running shoes, thus deciding to bring it to golf.

Like previous TitanTour shoes, the Ignite also includes the Outlast “phase change” compound inside the shoe to regulate temperature and absorb moisture.

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
