Whispers About Who’s Going To Be Europe’s 2014 Ryder Cup Captain

Ollie: He did great, but wants out.  The whole effort has even affected his beard growth levels, texture and colour.  Definitely out.

7 ollie Monty:  He said yesterday. “I keep being asked by people if I’ll return as a captain for Scotland’s first Ryder Cup in 41 years. My answer is always the same â€" ‘I’d do it if I was asked’. But I won’t be asked”.  Praise the Lord!

Paul McGinley:  He’s the bookies favourite at 10/11.  Peter Hanson who is still annoyed with Ollie’s benching of him in Medinah told the Telegraph yesterday  “I think Paul does a fantastic job in the team room. He knows a lot about the Ryder Cup and really loves the role of helping players, I think he would make a great captain.”

McGinley himself won’t be drawn on the subject.  He said “As my caddie Jimmy says, if it’s meant for you it won’t pass you by. And he’s absolutely right.”

Darren Clarke:  Could be the dark horse for a home Ryder Cup captaincy and Padraig Harrington, who has a fair idea how the land lies in the inner sanctum of the European Tour said yesterday  “I understand the inside track is that it’s going to be Darren Clarke.”

So, in summary, the main thing is it’s not going to be Monty. Praise Jesus!

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! When I rocked in, several men (and one woman) were gathered around an iphone ogling and sharing  two pics of who they claimed were Holly Sonders naked. Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. The Sky statement read: We apologize unreservedly for the navy dress Sarah wore during last nights broadcast, through which no nipples were visible. This was due to a wardrobe malfunction. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
