Last week we had a winner with Ryan Moore.

Bud Cauley 20/1

bud It’s only Bud Cauley’s 36th PGA Tour start of his career this week but with six top 10s so far, this a player destined to win soon. Some of those good finishes included big events such as the Arnold Palmer, the Wyndham and Barclays in the playoffs. First start back after a month off. Nobody had more birdies than Bud here last year on his way to third and he’ll have happy memories of Cordevalle having secured his Tour Card here 12 months ago.

Jonas Blixt 25/1

Jonas hails from Sweden and is still cutting his teeth on Tour with just 25 starts under his belt. Third at the Shriners last week and lead after the second and third rounds. With 25 birdies at Summerlin, the same will be required of Blixt this week on greens here that will run at 11 on the stimp.

Jeff Overton 33/1

fry Tying for 13th last week and seventh at the Deutsche Bank represent an improvement in form for the 2010 Ryder Cupper. It’s Overton’s debut at the Frys and if he can tighten up his greens in regulation stats (from tied 53rd last week on shotlink) on the 8,300 square feet of greens here he could do well.

Billy Horschel 50/1

First start since the Wyndham for young Billy Horschel but I’ve been really impressed with him when he has played. Under par for his last six Tour starts (excluding the Reno Tahoe stableford event) and a best of third at the True South Classic in July. Tied for seventh here last year after giving the field a huge head start with an opening 72. One to watch.

Jimmy Walker 33/1

His tied tenth last week might look good on paper but Jimmy will be kicking himself after shooting a final round 73. Yet to break into the top three this season but with five top 10s including fourth place finishes at Wyndham and the Northern Trust, he’s not far off. Missed seven weeks due a knee operation; let’s hope Walker is fresh for a big week at the Frys.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! When I rocked in, several men (and one woman) were gathered around an iphone ogling and sharing  two pics of who they claimed were Holly Sonders naked. Now I have to hold my hands up and say, I had to google her to find out she’s from The Golf Channel. Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. The Sky statement read: We apologize unreservedly for the navy dress Sarah wore during last nights broadcast, through which no nipples were visible. This was due to a wardrobe malfunction. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
