Spy Pics: New Nike Covert 2.0 Driver First Look
The new Nike Covert 2.0 driver was first spotted in Charl Schwartzelâs bag at the Tour Championship and now two versions apear on the USGAâs non conforming driver list. The big news is that odd looking sole cavity is staying. In fact it has gotten bigger! Looking down on the new 2.0 the paint job on the crown is the same as the the original but thereâs a lot different on the underside. The paint job is a toned down black affair compared to the bright chrome on the original and the unique cavity which was born in the original has now grown.

Sticking with the current trend of shape, the Covert 2.0 has assumed the classic pear shaped crown of the Tour version used by Tiger Woods this year and has a deeper face than the original. The retail version of the 2.0 with retain the Flex Loft system which allows the loft to be adjusted in one degree jumps from 8.5 to 12.5 degrees. The face angle adjuster (right, left or neutral) also stays.
