Ross Fisher 32/1
It has been a torrid season for Ross Fisher with six missed cuts on the PGA Tour and just one top 10 at the Wells Fargo (T10). Returned home to Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship where he tied 32nd and hangs around for the Nordea Masters this week. After a good week in Wales, Fisher played great here last year, finishing second behind Lee Westwood. He would have been closer too were it not for one bad hole on the back nine. Hard to fathom how Ross hasnât won since the 2010 Irish Open.
Mikko Illonen 34/1
The flying Fin is on a great run of form with four top 17s in his last five starts, which includes a tied second in Morocco and a solo second in China. Played well at Wentworth too tying 12th. Mikko sandwiched a solo third here between missed cuts at the Wales and US Opens and given that he comes into the event this time around in super form, you have to fancy his chances. A previous winner in Arlandastad in 2007.
Alex Noren 17/1
Check this out, Alex has played his last five events in Florida (T20), Malaysia (T6), South Korea (T6), China (T41) and England (T32). So if thereâs one man thatâs looking forward to getting home this week, itâs probably him. Who can forget Norenâs annihilation of the field here in 2011 when he had the luxury of shooting 77 in the final round and still won by eight shots. Tied 10th in 2012, keeping the tradition of no-one having defended the title.
Peter Hanson 21/1
Peter Hanson has a solid if unspectacular season so far on the PGA Tour with a best of tied eighth at the WGC Cadillac in early March. Tied for third at Bro Hof Slott last year but Hanson was in contention throughout the final round until a seven on the 15th ended his hopes.
Thomas Bjorn 50/1
Two 69âs at Wentworth with Billy Foster back on the bag says Bjorn has another decent week in him. Played great at the beginning of June last season and thereâs nothing like a Dane to spoil a Swedish party!
