Five Comfortable Golf Shoes For 2013

Gone are the days of “breaking in” golf shoes and the need to rub Vaseline into the heels or carry some blisters patches in your golf bag “just in case”. These new releases are all about comfort from the minute you try them on. Here’s what I think.

Follows the "barefoot" craze that everyone is raving about at the moment. Designed to position the feet closer to the ground and has a wide, web-shaped forefoot provides space for the toes to spread out, for added stability when crushing those 300 yard drives. It’s also waterproof, kind of vital in these parts.

Footjoy Contour Casual

Footjoy would have a huge market share in the shoe but this ranks as one of its more radical offerings. This is souped up lightweight street runner with premium leather, a waterproof warranty and a rubber sole instead of cleats for wearing on and off the course.

Callaway XTreme

Is it XTreme because it’s extremely boring to look at? This one has a snazzy "Comfort Tech Gel Tongue" an OrthoLite molded insole and special "PINS" spikes to make bogeys more comfortable than ever. It’s waterproof too.

Puma Neo Classic ProType

Fans of Puma’s classic soccer boot will absolutely love this Neo Classic, it’s a dead ringer. Puma says it’s full of comfort technology but it’s abviously a football boot with spikes. And we like it!

Ecco Street Luxe

Yet another Priest’s shoe from Ecco’s design department I’m afraid. Rubber spikes mean it can be worn on the course and while saying Mass. Comfortable though during long sermons.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! When I rocked in, several men (and one woman) were gathered around an iphone ogling and sharing  two pics of who they claimed were Holly Sonders naked. Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
