Alan Dunbar Wins Georgia Cup. Subo Subo Subo!

scoreboardWell done to British Amateur champion Alan Dunbar (aka Subo!!!) who canned a 12-foot birdie putt on the final hole to beat US Amateur Champion Steven Fox,and win the 16th annual Georgia Cup.  The event held at a wet Golf Club of Georgia is now poised at eight a piece with the latest win. Past winners include Matt Kuchar and Sergio Garcia.

No.2 par-4 -  Dunbar goes 2-up with 15-foot birdie ... Fox is 30 feet past hole and 2-putts for par 

No.3 par-3 - Fox wins with a par .. is 1-down ... both players short of hole on tee shot ... Fox makes a par from 6 inches ... Dunbar misses par from 10 feet

No.18 par-5 .. Dunbar halves hole with a birdie to win 1-up .. in a greenside bunker in 2 ... chips 12 feet past and makes the birdie putt to win as Fox's ball was 10 feet away lying 3.

The media centre at the 2013 PGA Show was buzzing yesterday.  Not because of anything that happened at the show.  God forbid! Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
