Bubba is long right? Bubba long right? That means he makes lots of birdies and eagles on par 5âs right? Well not so far in 2013. Hell Bubba has only had one eagle all year. Iâve been checking out his stats and those that won him the Masters in 2012, and hereâs what I found.

The Angels and Devils in Bubbaâs Game
Angels: The greatest asset in Bubbaâs game his greens in regulation performance. To date this year he has hit 218 out of a possible 306 greens (71.24%), good enough for 11th on the PGA Tour stats. Of course this is a result of driving it long, with an average of 301.5 yards. That and his ability to spin the ball gives him a massive advantage at Augusta.
Devils: You might think that a man of Bubbaâs prodigious distance would make a lot of birdies and eagles on par fives and last season he did, ranking third in the stat. But this season, from 306 holes played, Bubba has only made one eagle and 24 birdies on par fives leaving him a lowly 142nd on Tour in that category. Amazingly he ranks first in birdies on par fours. If Bubba can reverse that par 5 performance stat this week at Augusta he will be right back in contention.
