5 Outsiders To Watch: 2013 US Masters Betting Preview and Tips
You can debate until the cows come home whether Rory, Phil, Adam or Tiger will don the green jacket at Augusta. But Iâve taken a trip outside the 50/1 mark to see if I could find some each way value among the long shots.

Peter Hanson 80/1
The Swede has three top-10âs in the last two years in the Majors with a closest of tied third here last year. From a wonderful position, his final round of 73 was the highest of the top 10 finishers and left Peter two back of Bubba and Louis. Hard to believe this will only be his third Masters, but good form of late make him hard to ignore.
Henrik Stenson 50/1
A top ten at Arnieâs Bay Hill followed by a tied second in Houston, Henrik Stenson is in better form for this yearâs Masters than ever before. This will be his eighth visit to Augusta and his mixed record includes three missed cuts and four top 40âs. Last year Stenson was 50th in Driving Accuracy and 113th in greens in regulation; this year he tops both stats.
Angel Cabrera 90/1
Only three wins in his career and two of those were in Majors! Angel is what you might call a Masters specialist, with one win (2009), four top 10âs and never outside the top 40 for the last seven years. Very solid if unspectacular so far on the PGA Tour this season, El Pato had his best result of the year to date last time out in Houston finishing 16th.
Stewart Cink 125/1
Seemed to find something special in Houston last time out with a best of the season tied sixth finish. Itâs a reflection of a much better year for the 2009 Open Champion. Tied for third in the 2008 Masters, but Cinkâs record since has been forgettable. Can he keep his recent good form going and realize his each way potential?
KJ Choi 66/1
Missed the cut in 2012 but top 10âd the two years previous. Choiâs recent best was a tied fourth in 2010 which included some back nine heartbreak. What makes KJ play well as Augusta is his straight driving, his ability to hit greens in regulation from distance and his brilliance from bunkers.
