After completing the four tournaments in Texas on this year’s PGA Tour schedule, the Pros head to Jack’s place for this week’s Memorial Tournament. As usual, this event has drawn a great field to Dublin, Ohio, where Jack Nicklaus serves as host to this annual event at Muirfield Village. To get your team set up, check out my fantasy golf picks on the following slides.

Both Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler are scheduled to play this week as 15 of the top 25 in the World Golf Rankings are expected to tee it up.  Last year, Hideki Matsuyama edged Kevin Na in a playoff in one of the most exciting finishes in the past several years at this event.  This tournament is usually considered one of the most important non-Majors, and is a prestigious win for whoever takes home the title.

As far as sleepers go, it’s important to realize that this is an “invitational” which means that 120 players will start the event on Thursday as opposed to the 156 in regular PGA events.

As far as the course is concerned, Muirfield Village Golf Club is a 7,392 yards, par 72 course that has hosted a PGA Tour event dating back to 1976.  Muirfield Village is one of the best known courses in the country, and every year Jack Nicklaus and his team add a few new tweaks to keep it in top shape.  It doesn’t reward a particular kind of golfer although the best in the world tend to excel on this properly-balanced layout.

To see who I expect to do well this week, check out my picks on the next few slides. Each week you can find my DraftKings fantasy golf picks right here on Fansided. To break down the players I’m picking, I divide the options into five-figure studs with salaries over 10,000, stars in the 8,000 to 10,000 range, solid performers between 6,500 and 8,000, and finally some sleeper options who are 6,500 or less but still have a shot to produce points.

On the final slide of this post you can find my personal DraftKings Fantasy Golf Picks lineups. Feel free to add in your own favorites and blend my picks together on your way to what I hope will be a successful tournament. If things change before tee time, I’ll update my lineup on our FansidedFantasy Twitter feed as I had to do last week after Jason Day and Ian Poulter withdrew on Wednesday.
