Jim Furyk holes out one of the most creative chip shots you’ll ever see at Riviera

There are few par-3s in the United States that are as popular, and as quirky, as the sixth at Riviera. Known for the bunker in the middle of the green, No. 6 is the site of plenty of strange golf shots, pitch shots from the putting surface and creativity at its finest.

Jim Furyk was out of position on No. 6 during his third round at the Northern Trust Open, having to throw his chip shot up on a bank and hope it would come back down towards the hole.

He pulled the shot off perfectly, giving it just enough to get up high on the bank and really come back down the hill towards the hole. His ball slammed into the stick and dropped for the unexpected birdie, and his reaction says it all.

We've seen some great shots pulled off this year, but none have been as creative as this one from Furyk.
