Keegan Bradley’s Beloved Boston Red Sox Win World Series

keegan bradleys bostonNew England native Keegan Bradley may not have had a wonderful opening to his WGC HSBC in China but he’s sure to celebrating after his round.  Bradley is a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox and yesterday his team completed one of the most amazing turnarounds in baseball history to win the World Series.  From being the worst team in the league, the Red Sox offloaded expensive beef, bought up several free agents Moneyball style and haven’t looked back since.

"My girlfriend, Jillian, is a big Red Sox fan too and she was giving me updates as best she could," Bradley said. "It's tough that we don't get to watch the World Series. I know that they replay it later today, but it's more fun knowing what's going on."

The Boston Red Sox completed a rousing run from a last-place finish to top of the baseball universe by routing the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 on Wednesday to win the World Series.

The emphatic victory gave the Red Sox a 4-2 triumph in the best-of-seven Fall Classic for their third Major League Baseball championship in 10 seasons, starting the surge when they ended an 86-year title drought with their 2004 sweep of the Cardinals.

boston redsox 1918Shane Victorino, in the lineup after missing two games with a stiff back, led the way with a three-run double in the third and a bases-loaded single in the fourth for four runs batted in.

"Hey, we're world champs, can't believe it," said Victorino, one of a slew of veterans who joined the Red Sox this year for their improbable run.

David "Big Papi" Ortiz was named Most Valuable Player of the series, going 11-for-16 at the plate for a .688 batting average with two home runs and six RBIs. So feared was Ortiz that he was walked four times in the clincher, three times intentionally.

Closer Koji Uehara struck out Matt Carpenter for the final out, setting off wild celebrations on the field and in the stands for the first World Series clinched in front of the home fans at Fenway Park since their 1918 championship.

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
