Report Says Lindsey And Tiger Could Break Up After “I’m Not Just Your Cheer­leader” Remark

The National Enquirer magazine may seem as reputable a source as Berlusconi’s PR agent but they’ve seen their fare share of courtrooms over their stories and rarely nowadays go to print without a modicum of substance, so this one about Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn’s increasingly strained relationship grabs the attention. 
It seems the nub of their problem is that Woods does not look at Vonn as the sporting equal she wants.  So much so that Woods is not yet scheduled to attend February’s Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia  to see Vonn compete in her alpine skiing events. 
Vonn is slated to compete in the Women’s Downhill event on Wednesday 12th February and the Super G on Saturday 15th February.
Woods is expected to play the Farmers Insurance Open (Jan. 23-26) followed by the Dubai Desert Classic (Jan. 30-Feb. 2) but remained non committal during the week on whether he intends to attend the Winter Olympics. 
"I think that's just day to day," he said. "We just don't know how her leg is going to be. We'll just take it day to day, race to race."
Should he go to Russia, Woods would miss the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and the Northern Trust Open at Riviera, two events he has not played in recent years.
The National Enquirer reports that Vonn is unhappy at being branded as Tiger’s “cheerleader.”
The accomplished athletes have been at odds ever since alpine skier Lindsey, 29, an­nounced her intention to represent the U.S. in the Winter Olympics â€" because Tiger says he may be too busy playing in golf tournaments to cheer her on.
While Lindsey has publicly downplayed the drama, insid­ers say that the two have been battling behind the scenes over whether Tiger, 37, will be on the green adding to his trophy case or on the slopes supporting his lady love.
“Lindsey is demanding to be considered an equal, but she thinks Tiger still sees her only as a pretty accessory and doesn’t take her skiing career seriously,” a source told The ENQUIRER.
“The arguments have been very nasty,” said the source. “Lindsey told Tiger: ‘I sup­ported you this season. Now, it’s your turn to support me in public. I’m not just your cheer­leader â€" I’m a world class athlete too!’”
“It’s a serious clash of athlete egos, and neither one is willing to back down.”

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
