Tiger Woods undergoes more back surgery, out for six months

The saga of Tiger Woods' back problems continues.
The former world No. 1 has announced he will be out of action for up to six months following surgery to alleviate ongoing "back spasms and pain."
Woods, 41, missed the recent Masters tournament and was last in action at the Dubai Desert Classic at the beginning of February where he completed one round before withdrawing.


"The surgery went well, and I'm optimistic this will relieve my back spasms and pain," Woods said in a statement on his website.
"When healed, I look forward to getting back to a normal life, playing with my kids, competing in professional golf and living without the pain I have been battling so long.  
"I would like to thank all the fans for staying in touch and their kind wishes," Woods added.
"The support I have received has never waned, and it really helps."

The predicted recovery time means Woods will miss the remaining three majors of 2017 -- the US Open, The Open Championship and the USPGA Championship.
This latest setback comes just five months after Woods returned to competitive action at the Hero World Challenge following a 15-month layoff during which time he underwent two back operations.
Former Masters champion Trevor Immelman was one of several fellow professionals who sent their best wishes to Woods.
"Pulling for you bro, hope you have a full and speedy recovery," the South African tweeted.

Sarah Stirk Nipple Gate: Navy Top Leaves Viewers Disappointed

London: Sky Sports management this morning issued a statement  apologizing to subscribers after Sarah Stirk wore a navy dress live on air.  It is believed up to 60,000 horny golfers were left limp after they tuned in to final round coverage of the Valero Texas Open in the hope of getting a glimpse of the legendary Stirk starter buttons. “I pay my subscription, I’m bloody well entitled to see Sarah’s Wimbledon strawberries” said factory worker Paul Manning 52 from Hereford. “I even missed the ten minute freeview, coz my mate Derek tweeted that Stirk was going into the shot centre for ten minutes at 11pm”. Holly Sonders Quits Golf Channel After Contract Talks Fail. Moves To Fox.

Tissues at the ready guys as this will come as a shock to you all that Holly Sonders , the female face of the Golf Channel, has quit and reportedly taken a job with Fox Sports. According to  reports Sonders, who appeared regularly on “Morning Drive” since 2011, could not come to an agreement on a new contract deal with the Golf Channel and was quickly snapped up by Fox Sports where she is expected to work on golf and NFL.
